新驛旅店二館 X跨界藝術家安琪拉 宇宙綠洲藝術置入空間合作案
CityInn Hotel Branch II x Crossover Artist Angela: Oasis in Outer Space – Art incorporation into space

新驛旅店二館本次找來跨界藝術家安琪拉 Angela Chen 共同合作，以她跨時尚、設計、藝術的豐富經驗，在1樓空間以及房間之中創作，希望能夠讓海內外的旅客耳目一新，並體驗台灣藝術家的設計美感。
This time a crossover artist Angela Chen was invited by CityInn Hotel Branch II to work together. With her accumulated experience in fashion, design and art, creation started in the space and rooms on the ground floor in expectation of freshness to visitors at home and abroad. They can also feel the design aesthetic that Taiwanese artists displayed.

本次創作"宇宙綠洲"，設計概念是希望入住的國內外旅人，可以跳脫現實的壓力、在入住新驛旅店二館中，拾回每個人心中的綠洲泉源，透過大量的行星在宇宙間透出的紫色為主要色調，強調進入旅店已進入另一個時空的與現實隔離，且顛覆大眾對於植物綠色的印象，並放入發條元素表現翻轉時空的概念。
The concept of the design of “Oasis in Outer Space” is to allow the travelers staying in this hotel to leave the pressure from reality behind. During the stay in CityInn Hotel Branch II, everyone can retrieve his/her own spring of oasis in the heart. Purple, used as the main theme, is reflected through a large number of planets floating in the universe, which emphasizes that entering the hotel means jumping into another space, separating the traveler from the reality. Moreover, the impression of green plants is overthrown, and clockwork element is incorporated to present the idea of reverse time and space.

另外空間的針織系列作品，來自針織藝術家楊金燕，善用毛線在不同媒材上創作，
透過棉線編織出溫暖的植物，從視野找到回溫的美好，與本次"宇宙綠洲"的主題相互呼應。
In addition, the knitting series works of space are created by knitting artist, Chang, Jin-Yan who is good at using wool on various medium. She takes advantage of cotton thread to weave warm plants, and finds back the warmness at the sight of them, which corresponds the theme of “Oasis in Outer Space”.

以右手藝術創作，左手多元跨界，精闢的觀點聯結各類型產業，
大膽創新卻保有女性的細膩，以傾聽大眾共鳴為創作為理念。


針織藝術家 楊金燕 ( Yang Chin Yen )

13歲開始學習編織，善用毛線在不同媒材上創作，
對於這個世界充滿著驚喜，而生命的血液是有溫度的，
透過棉線編織出溫暖的創作，讓每個人無論面臨酸甜苦辣，
都能從視野找到回溫的美好。
